Fr. Salvador Diaz
Pastor
Father Salvador Diaz was born in Holguin, Cuba, on March 18, 1974. He was baptized at St. Andrew Parish, where he grew up and began his journey of faith and service to the Church.
He began his priestly formation at St. Luke Pre-Seminary in Holguin. He later pursued studies in Philosophy at St. Basil the Great Seminary in Santiago de Cuba and at St. Charles and St. Ambrose Seminary in Havana. He completed his theological studies at the Pontifical Seminary of St. Thomas Aquinas in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Father Diaz was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Holguin, Cuba, on August 14, 2004. In 2013, he earned a Licentiate Degree in Psychology from the Pontificia Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Throughout his priestly ministry, he has served communities in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Since 2014, he has ministered in the Archdiocese of Miami. Since October 2023, he has served as Pastor of St. Lazaro Parish in Hialeah, Florida.
